For those who were curious to know this, or the ones who are now willing to know this, here’s how you go about it

• Click Start –> Run
• Type cmd to open a command prompt.
• At the prompt, type systeminfo

Scroll down the list of information to the line that says System Up Time.
This will tell you in days, hours, minutes and seconds how long the system has been up.

PS: This command only works in XP Pro, not in XP Home. You can, however, type net statistics workstation at the prompt in Home. The first line will tell you the day and time that the system came online.

To disable the bugging feature in WindowsXP which tries to send a report to Microsoft whenever a program crashes, you need to follow the below procedure.

• Open Control Panel
• Click on Performance and Maintenance.
• Click on System.
• Then click on the Advanced tab
• Click on the error reporting button on the bottom of the windows.
• Select Disable error reporting.
• Click OK
• Click OK

Introducing..

The Early November

Another one of my favorites , this is one band whom i can listen to ‘again n again and again’. Ya ya , i know i said the same thing when i mentioned Lene Marlin but honestly, there arn’t many singers for whom I’d say so. They are a class apart, and what sets them apart is there soulful music,the vocals,the lyrics and every other thing that you can add to it. Now, there songs are mainly guitar based, and boy do they play it well. There genre i guess is a mixture of emo and punk, emopunk is what i would call it. Anyway, I assure you that they are not another of the bands who would impress you by their main track and end up being a complete flop once you here there complete album. Again, they are NOT one of them . And i can’t list my favs from this band here cause i like all the numbers except someones.

And yeah, this ain’t one of my fav tracks but it sure is good to the ears.

PS:I have no idea why they look so ‘not interested’ in the above pic.

Deviously Deviant‘t Now, according to me, these two words together, carry a lot more deeper meaning that what it appears to be. But that hasn’t really got much to do with the way i am or the way i think. This is what ive been tagged as on DevianArt. Now, if you have interest in Art and Photography, then you must be knowing what its all about. But if you don’t , then trust me when i say that this is one of a kind place in this virtual world of internet, where artists from all over the world come to show off their artworks.Now, by words it may not sound that impressive, but surf the website once and u’ll realize what i  am trying to say here. Now having told you how awesome this site really is, i’d also like to tell that m really honored to be a part of it. I mean, m considered as an artist there, right? .

I obviously found it while surfing different forums blah blah, but you’ll find all such dedicated and awesome sites here only ( i guess ). Anyways, visit the link given below, search for the artist whose albumart you want, and it’ll provide you with all the covers available for that artist . Sweet ?! So next time you play your tracks on your iPod or iPhone, make sure you have the albumart too. The song looks all the more impressive then. Cheers..!!

Starting of, heres introducing the first artist ‘Lene Marlin’. I got to listen to two of her tracks ‘A place Nearby’ and ‘Sitting down here’ on radio and just kinda liked it then. And then,when i was bored with the tracks that i had, i thought of listening to her songs.

Now,after having listened to every song of hers(all the three albums), i got to say, there isn’t a better female singer in the world (atleast for me). I can go about listening to her songs, repeatedly, any number of times, and any time of the day.

My favorites from this artist : A place Nearby, From this day, Hope your Happy, Leave My Mind, Sorry, Faces, When You Were Around, Unforgivable Sinner. Eh, i had to stop myself here. I love all her songs you see.

In our lifes , a time comes when we get bored of listening to the same songs time and again. And unfortunately in my life, such a thing happens quite often. So to make sure that this doesn’t happen to you, i am going to post all the music artists that i like and are worth listening to. BTW you can listen to the playlists that i have added in the sidebar,so that you get to know what kind of music i am into .
